I actively use TeX / LaTeX for writing working papers and articles for my scientific work. One of the most successful appearance class is elsarticle, developed by the publisher Elsevier (http://www.elsevier.com/author-schemas/latex-instructions).

Based on elsarticle class I have developed a template for an article, directory structure adapted for writing paper in 2 languages (Russian and English), as well as the translated class files and bibliographic style (Harvard style) into Russian. In the near future I will supplement this set of templates by files for beamer presentations and poster in beamerposter.
